Query Helper (Beta)

One of the most beloved capabilities of Faros AI is the ability to build your own charts. With all due respect to out-of-the-box metrics and dashboards, every company has its own unique reporting needs and ad-hoc business needs that need fast answers.

Lighthouse AI will get you those insights faster. Now you can use a natural language prompt to ask Faros a business question, and Faros will suggest charts and tables that hold the answer, provide key information about the data, and supply tips and tricks on how to build your query.

Accessing Query Helper

Query Helper is available whenever you are creating or editing a chart via the "Query Help" button in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. This will open up a panel where you can ask your question.

When you open Query Helper, a new panel appears where you can enter in your question

When you enter you question, Lighthouse AI will analyze your question and provide already existing related charts, a how-do-guide on how to construct your query, and details about the needed tables and fields.

Related Charts

Query Helper will search your available charts and find the ones most relevant to your question. You can click on the results to open up the chart in a new tab.

Create Your Query: How-to Guide

The How-to Guide gives you a step-step set of instructions to construct the query needed to answer your question.

Data Details

The Data Details gives more detailed information about the tables used in your query, plus extra tips on how to use the data in each table.
